Housing Ombudsman publishes reports from latest decisions on individual complaints

The Housing Ombudsman has published another batch of decisions bringing the total number of published reports to over 350 since March 2021.  The most recent decisions include cases relating to:

  • Clarion HA – landlord’s response to reports of noise transference from a neighbouring property
  • South Tyneside Homes – landlord’s handling of repairs to the resident’s property, landlord’s handling of the resident’s concerns about asbestos at the property and landlord’s complaints handling and response to the resident’s request for compensation.
  • Islington and Shoreditch HA – landlord’s handling of the resident’s report of water ingress into her property and landlord’s complaint handling and
  • Hexagon HA – landlord’s response to repairs required at the property and landlord’s response to the resident’s associated complaint.
