Housing Secretary Michael Gove has written to Sarah Boden, Chief Executive of Housing Plus Group, following the Housing Ombudsman publishing a serious maladministration finding against Stafford and Rural Homes, which joined the Housing Plus Group in 2019. The finding related to unacceptable delays in dealing with the resident’s complaint about delayed repairs and a bedbug infestation.
The letter says that “no one should have to live in a home” with those conditions and that Housing Plus Group “have seriously let [their] tenants down”.
