Stuart Andrew MP has been appointed as the new Housing Minister in a Cabinet re-shuffle, replacing Christopher Pincher MP, who had undertaken the role since February 2020.

Mr Andrew, who is the 20th Housing Minster since 1997, has been the MP for Pudsey in West Yorkshire since 2010.  He moves from being Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Commons and Treasurer of HM Household, having previously held parliamentary under-secretary roles in the Wales Office and the Ministry of Defence.

Before entering politics Mr Andrew led the fundraising team for Martin House Hospice.
