In the week commencing Monday 1 January 2024 the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH):

  • published a Regulatory Judgement for A2Dominion which downgraded the provider’s Governance rating from G1 to a non-compliant G3 and retained its V2 grading for Viability. The RSH said “We found significant issues with A2Dominion’s data and its business planning, risk and control framework, leading to a failure by the provider to manage key risks effectively” and
  • published updated guidance on the Limit on Annual Rent Increases 2024-25, which confirms that formula rents increase by 7.7% from 1 April 2024 (CPI of 6.7% for September 2023 plus 1%) and also sets out formula rent caps for 2024-25
